Public Health System events with the Kings Fund

Tender description

Design/tailor and deliver workshops for the Cheshire and Merseyside Directors of Public Health and the wider Cheshire and Merseyside public health system. Background - Following the closedown of Public Health England, a number of new regional public health organisations have emerged that are critical to promoting and protecting the health of the Cheshire and Merseyside population and addressing inequalities. Champs Cheshire and Merseyside Directors of Public Health have historically operated a Public Health system with Public Health England and now need to re-establish effective working relationships with and across the new organisations. Purpose: To enable the public health system to reconnect and agree a shared vision and roles, current context given the COVID-19 pandemic and organisational changes including the establishment of the Cheshire and Merseyside ICS. Champs Directors of Public Health, OHID, UKHSA can review roles given the current needs, opportunities and challenges that exist. Participants: Champs, Cheshire and Merseyside Directors of Public Health, local senior Public Health leads and representation from OHID, UKHSA and NHS England.
