Tender description
Renfrewshire Council is using a two stage procedure to procure a Digital Production company with expertise in Co-Production following the extension, renovation and refurbishment of the Grade A listed Paisley Museum. Stage 1 is the selection stage. Stage 2 is the award stage. This is stage 1 of the procedure and Bidders interested in participating in the procurement exercise are invited to submit a request to participate in accordance with the information and instructions detailed in the "PMR AV Software - Co-Production ITP" document contained in the Additional Documents area. This document also gives an overview of the service requirements. At this stage, the Council is only requiring interested bidders to submit the following: Response to previous experience question in RTP Questionnaire Response to co-production question in RTP Questionnaire Complete SPD Candidate's declaration H&S questionnaire The Council has included video presentations and example project briefs, however these are for information only at this time and to assist Bidders understanding of the Paisley Museum project and anticipated scope of requirements at ITT stage. Renfrewshire Council is using a two stage procedure to procure a Digital Production company with expertise in Co-Production to work with with different members of the public and museum staff, in a variety of different ways, to produce six films and animations. In the final museum these co-produced films must demonstrate high levels of quality, craft and engagement. This work forms part of the Paisley Museum Re-imagined project. Co-Production is a cornerstone of the approach Paisley Museum is taking to create the museum. As part of that we are working with members of the public from various communities from across Renfrewshire (and beyond) to ensure that their voices and stories are represented within the museum. This work includes six stories where we plan to co-produce the digital content through working with specific groups and individuals. Staff are engaging with groups to: develop the displays; select objects; research the objects and stories and to develop the text, images and digital content for the co-produced story displays Through Co-Production we are working to: - Make Paisley Museum an inclusive and welcoming space where local communities will see and recognise themselves in the stories and displays. - Involve communities actively and meaningfully. - Create sustainable relationships to ensure co-production work (in all its forms) continues after the museum is open. Full statement of requirements is contained in the ITP document. It is anticipated that the successful contractor will have 12 months to design, develop and procure final working games, programme will be confirmed at Stage 2 – Award stage. The “Supporting Documents.zip” file contains some example briefs for the co-production requirements, but these documents are subject to change and will be further developed prior to Stage 2 - Award stage. They are included for information only at this stage to help Bidders understand the anticipated scope of requirements. The Council has also included Video Presentations on the PMR project and digital exhibition design however these are for information only and are not required to be considered as part of any RTP submission.
