Tender description
<p>The Commercial Team, London Borough of Enfield (LBE) are project managing the feasibility stages of a proposed locally based carbon offset platform. LBE as an organisation has a net zero target of 2030 and as a borough of 2040. LBE completed an initial option assessment, which concluded that there was potential to create a locally based offsetting platform for both residents and businesses. The platform would deliver an accessible and local carbon offsetting option, whilst also providing further environmental and social benefits, which could include tackling fuel poverty or increasing local biodiversity. The next steps are to complete a feasibility study, to support the development of a full business case. The LBE Commercial Team wish to procure the services of an experienced technical carbon expert with experience in carbon offsetting markets, to develop a technical feasibility report. The proposal should include the opportunity for review and revision, ahead of the delivery of the finalised report w/c 10 October 2022.</p> Keywords: Carbon Offset, Offset, Carbon
