Framework Agreement for the Provision of Insourcing and Outsourcing Clinical, Surgical and Diagnostic Procedures

NWSSP Procurement Services currently has a framework agreement in place for the provision of Insourcing / Outsourcing of Surgical, Clinical and Diagnostic Procedures. The range of Clinical, Surgical and Diagnostic services include Breast, Cardiac and Cardiac related Diagnostics, Cardiology and Cardiology related Diagnostics, CT Scanning, Dermatology, Ear Nose & Throat(ENT), Endoscopy (including Cystoscopy), Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, MRI Scanning, Neurology and Neurology related Diagnostics, Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, Oral Maxillo Facial Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pain Management, Plastic surgery, Thoracic Ultrasound Diagnostics, Urology and Vascular. It is anticipated that Services will be delivered primarily in Wales; delivery outside Wales will be subject to proximity to patient/family/carer's place of abode, bed/capacity to meet patients surgical needs, proximity of clinical support, procedure costs, opinion of the referring clinician re: patient's interest. Lot 1: The modification is for an 8-month extension of the Framework Agreement for the Provision of Insourcing and Outsourcing Clinical, Surgical and Diagnostic Procedures at an additional cost of 15000000 GBP. During this 8-month period; NWSSP Procurement Services on behalf of the Health Boards and Trust in Wales will undertake a procurement process for a renewal of the framework agreement. Total value of the procurement: 72000000 GBP comprising the original contract value (4000000 GBP) and taking into account an earlier modification (57000000 GBP) plus the value of the modification (15000000 GBP). The extension is from the 1 August 2022 until 31 March 2023.
