CP2216-22 Peninsula Residential Children's Homes Flexible Purchasing System (FPS)

Tender description

The Peninsula Authorities are putting in place a Flexible Purchasing System, with multiple partners across the Peninsula of Devon, Somerset, Torbay and Plymouth, to deliver residential children's services. The aim of this service is to increase sufficiency of high quality placements to enable children and young people to remain as close to their home community as possible. This is based on the principle of accessing the right placement at the right time. Placements offer an asset-based model of service, where the child or young person is supported to achieve positive outcomes, with a focus on supporting placement stability and Permanence. The Flexible Purchasing System aims to achieve improved value for money for placing authorities through greater transparency of pricing and competition through call-off. The proposal is for this to be a continually open framework, the aim to speed up the process for new homes to become available for placements by the authorities. Tender Launch Event: The Peninsula Authorities will be hosting a virtual -tender launch event meeting via Teams for Residential Children's Homes. This is purely in relation to the tendering documentation and the procurement process. Date: Friday, 7th October 2022 from 10am - 12pm Providers will be given the opportunity for Questions and Answers at the event in relation to the tendering process. Any questions in relation to the specification, providers will be directed to the portal to submit the question this way where the commissioning authorities will respond. Submitting your Tender Application Workshops: As we appreciate that the submission process will be different to previous tender processes so we will be holding a couple of separate events for Providers in order to support with the application process. These workshops aim to provide practical support and guidance through the steps of completing and submitting your response through the online system.
