CCCT/754 Provision of Simplified Technical English Training

Tender description

Having conducted a survey across the Air Domain, 25 people have been identified as requiring training in Simplified Technical English (STE). Course attendees will need to learn the theory and reasons as to why STE is important, with examples providing insights into best and worse practices. They are also required to have hands-on practice, applying STE writing rules and making use of the dictionary that follows the ASD-STE100 Specification. The successful supplier is asked to deliver training only for DE&S staff, rather than offer places on a public course. The trainer or the training organisation must be a member of the Simplified Technical English Maintenance Group (STEMG) and must be experienced in the use of STE either in the Aviation or Defence Industry.
