Provision of Transport Services for the Movement of Fuels within the UK

Tender description

The Authority has a requirement for the provision of scheduled transport services for the collection and delivery of Aviation and Marine fuels within the mainland United Kingdom, excluding Northern Ireland. The required service covers the provision of vehicles and drivers for the transportation of: Aviation fuel from Petroleum Supply Depots (PSDs) to Ministry of Defence (MOD) and support locations. The types of fuel to be transported are as follows: o AVTUR F-34 with Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII); the locations and delivery points are listed within the StOR. o AVTUR F-35; the locations and delivery points are listed within the StOR. o AVCAT F-44 FSII from HM Oil Fuel Depots (OFDs), which are listed within the StOR, to MOD establishments, HM Ships and Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) vessels. o Marine Dieso F-76 from HM Oil Fuel Deports, which are listed within the StOR, to MOD establishments, HM Ships and RFA vessels. The Authority also has a requirement to remove quality standard fuel from sites to be move elsewhere and be able to add fuel types to the list in paragraph 1.3 as required, for Urgent Operational Requirements. Following the DPQQ stage, the following suppliers will be invited to submit a tender; Ecolog International UK Ltd; Hoyer Gas & Petroleum Logistics Limited; and Wincanton Holdings Ltd.
