Mental Health and Wellbeing Needs Assessment

<p>We are looking for an experienced provider to work with commissioners to deliver a mental health and wellbeing health needs assessment for Wirral. The successful provider will be expected to undertake a Health Needs Assessment, using a systematic and objective methodology. This assessment should include the following: &bull; To review and describe the mental health and wellbeing needs of the Wirral population, identifying the risk factors for poor mental health as well as the prevalence of particular conditions, and establish whether the content and configuration of existing services meet this demand. &bull; A review of pressures and challenges and risks and protective factors to good mental health throughout the life course and the evidence of good practice identifying opportunities to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing making recommendations for local decision makers and commissioners for current and emerging needs following the pandemic. &bull; To engage with all stakeholders to enhance the metrics identified in this Health Needs Assessment, to identify local solutions based on a review of protective interventions and to develop recommendations. &bull; To provide evidence-based recommendations to inform strategy, commissioning and other interventions.</p> Keywords: mental health, emotional wellbeing
