<p><strong>Overnight Short Breaks for Children / Yound People with complex health needs market Test - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT </strong></p> <p>Nottingham City Council seek to gauge interest from providers in developing and delivering a new block contract for Overnight Short Breaks for children/young people with highly complex health needs and physical disabilities.</p> <p><strong>PLEASE RESPOND if you are able to offer this type of service. </strong></p> <p>Nottingham City Council is seeking feedback on this model from providers, to understand whether providers deem this model to be viable, and the interest from providers in delivering this service. This information will be used to inform the development of the service model. It will not contribute to the evaluation of any tender process. A formal tender process and evaluation is expected to follow in due course. Please review the attached service information. Please consider the following – • Would this be a viable service for you to deliver taking into consideration your current available accommodation and capacity? • The suggested price being considered for this service is approx. £760,000 per year. This is an indicative price only, and Nottingham City Council would very much welcome feedback on the appropriateness of this contract value. o Does this seem like a reasonable price for providing the service within your own building, and with your own equipment? o If it does not, would you please share, in confidence, what you would consider to be a reasonable price. • What model of building would you consider viable (i.e. do you already have a suitable building, would you seek to buy or rent a property to develop, would you adapt an existing building or build a new property specifically for the service)? • If you were awarded the contract, what would you consider a reasonable period from being notified of contract award, to having the building fully ready and the service being able to commence? • Does the form of the contract (i.e. block payment for up to 10 years total) appear viable? • Is there anything else they would like to comment on or question about the service?
