Tender description

Contractors shortlisted on the basis of this suitability assessment questionnaire may be invited to tender for a number of bridge maintenance & refurbishment contacts in Galway County in 2022. Each contract will involve maintenance & refurbishment works to one or more structures throughout County Galway. The works include but are not limited to: - Masonry repair and repointing using lime mortar; - Installation of tie bars and soil nails; - Application of gunite and shotcrete; - Grouting using lime based and cement based grout; - Concrete repair and installation of bed lining; - Parapet repair; - Repair of Structural Steel; - Painting of Structural Steel in situ; - Water management; - Vegetation Clearance; - Carriageway paving; - Footway and rubbing strip construction; - Drainage; - Associated Traffic Management;
