Creating a Global Food Loss Metric

Tender description

We are seeking an experienced consultancy, or consortium, to develop a uniform, global on-farm food loss metric that can be accessed by growers of all sizes and crop types in order to support measurement and reporting of food loss on farms. The work will focus on consolidating existing metrics for simplification of reporting whilst building on them to ensure the new tool meets the needs of the key stakeholders (e.g. farmers, FAO, retailers and national governments). Deadline for proposals: 14th Feb 2022 Kick off meeting: 21st Feb 2022 Stage one: Completed by End of March 2022 Stage two: Completed by End of April 2022 Stage three: Completed by End of June 2022 Stage four: Completed by End of July 2022 Stage five: Completed by End of August 2022 Stage six: Completed by End of November 2022 Stage seven: Completed by End of Jan 2023 BUDGET RANGE: We have approximately £79-99k including VAT to support this work.
