Tipperary County Council (TCC) Machinery Section is currently seeking to Purchase of 1 No. 2200kg Electric Powered Van This process will require the Purchase of 1 No. 2200kg Electric Powered Van. depending on cost, cost-benefit analysis and Tipperary County Council Finance Sections approval. The scope of this document is to outline the minimum requirements of the 2200kg Electric Powered Van. The minimum required life span of the Van is 10 years and due to the nature of the usage, minimum downtime is a prime consideration. It is imperative that parts are available for maintenance of the van throughout the 10 year life. The vans must comply with the statutory provisions laid down in current Road Traffic Regulations. The life expectancy of the trucks to be at least 10 years. The chassis shall be a model commonly sold in Ireland. The chassis must be a standard production model for which spares and mechanical servicing facilities are readily available.
