<p>ONLINE EVENT – this will be conducted via Microsoft Teams Cheshire East Council would like to invite Supported Lodgings Accommodation providers to participate in a Cheshire East Supported Lodging Accommodation Services Market Engagement Group meeting as a means of consulting with various suppliers and stakeholders; the purpose of the event is to help shape the recommissioning of supported lodging accommodation services for residents of Cheshire East. It will also provide a forum to co-produce elements of the service delivery model and contract management processes, with a view to seeking to find and implement solutions to common problems experienced by the sector. The Council is hosting a virtual Provider Engagement event on 13th September 2022 at 13:30 – 15:30 PM. We hope to ensure that anyone who currently works as a Supported Lodging Accommodation Services provider and / or wishes to tender for the project in 2023, can take part. This event will be via Microsoft Teams (with a dial in facility available if required). Once your interest in this event has been received you will receive a meeting link and or the dial in details for the online meeting. Cheshire East Council are looking for providers to offer a Supported Lodging Accommodation Service, available to 16-17 year old cared for children and care leavers, as defined by The Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000. We wish for this service to also be available to former relevant care leavers, until the age of 25yrs. We wish to include those with learning and or physical disability, those with emotional and behavioural problems, Asylum seekers and young people who are identified by the council as at risk of homelessness. We are inviting providers of this kind of accommodation and support services to attend our provider engagement event, ahead of the recommission of the current contract in March 2023.
