Tender description

The proposed Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS) seeks to provide support to Welsh farmers for actions which deliver Sustainable Land Management (SLM) outcomes such as clean air, clean water and reduced emissions.The first phase of co-design was conducted in 2019 and explored six broad themes to inform development of the SFS. This summer, the Welsh Government will be publishing an outline scheme in which we will provide further details on the scheme’s structure and the actions we are proposing farmers will be asked to carry out.The purpose of this contract is to conduct a second phase of co-design based on the outline scheme and, in doing so, seek views and feedback from the farming community on the proposals. The work will inform development of the SFS to ensure it is practical and works for the industry.
