Tender description
Sligo County Council, in partnership with The Heritage Council, invites proposals from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the preparation of a Heritage-Led Regeneration Plan for Ballymote, Co. Sligo in 2022. Experienced, specialist consultants are now required to assess both the existing building stock and vacant spaces and provide detailed plans for their Heritage-led Regeneration. The project will produce detailed plans for Heritage-led regeneration works. These would form the basis for applications for a substantive funding application to the Historic Towns Initiative (and other funding sources) in 2023. Sligo County Council requires the services of a fully-integrated team, led by a Grade I Conservation Architect, to design a Heritage-led Regeneration Project for the historic town of Ballymote, Co. Sligo and encompassing the following specialist services: • Conservation Architect (Grade 1) • Conservation Engineer • Archaeologist • Ecologist • Quantity Surveyor (optional) • Historic Landscape Consultant (optional)
