Night-Time Economy Strategy Consultant

Tender description

The VRU is looking to appoint a consultant to support the production of a Night-Time Economy Strategy in West Yorkshire. The West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit have chaired the ‘VRU Public Health Reducing Serious Violence Network’, which brought together partners and experts to focus on the reduction of violence. This group examined best practice that exists nationally, as well as acting as a platform to pull together a reservoir of examples of best practice and ‘what works’ from each of these organisations and districts across West Yorkshire. By pulling together this data and through further consultation with stakeholders, we will be able to develop our ambition of a safe, healthy, and thriving night-time economy for West Yorkshire. Developing a framework for managing a safe and prosperous night-time economy will aid us to have a coordinated approach to develop sustainable, healthy and safe night-time economies across West Yorkshire. As such, the VRU are seeking consultancy support to utilise the partnership links we have developed and the information already gathered on this agenda to produce a Night-Time Economy Strategy which will provide insight and recommendations and a response strategy that can be implemented across West Yorkshire to ensure West Yorkshire has a Safe, Healthy and Thriving Night-Time Economy.
