GoJ - Provision of Policy Consultancies for the Policy Products Procurement Framework – Additional Lots

<p>The Government of Jersey are looking for person(s) who will act as a representative for the Policy Products Framework.</p> <p>The Government of Jersey is responsible for the full range of government levers, including legislation, tax, spend, oversight, convening and communication. The development of policy is key to each of those levers and as such the Government has a strong cadre of professional policy officers across its range of functions. However, this also means that those policy officers are very busy, and we must ensure that their expertise is spent on the most contentious, complex and stakeholder heavy policies. In August 2021, the Government of Jersey launched its first procurement framework for the external production of several routine policy products, including legislative Drafting Instructions, products related to consultation, impact assessments and research. The new Policy Products Procurement framework consisted of 7 Lots and has been utilised since it went live in November 2021.</p> <p>A recent review of its operation identified several gaps which should be rectified, in terms of policy subject matter and type of policy product.
