For the design of a Rock Ramp Type Fish Pass at Pallas Weir, Co. Wexford

Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) is the statutory body with the responsibility for the protection, development, and management of the inland fishery resource within the State. As part of their responsibility to manage the fish stocks on the River Bann at Pallas Weir it is proposed to hire a consultant to prepare all necessary surveys and design work at Pallas Weir on the River Bann, Co. Wexford. This is to include: Topographical Survey, Hydrological Survey, Flood Study and the design of an appropriate rock ramp type fish pass. Consultation with the Engineer and follow through as the ecological clerk of works. This decision is based on a number of visits and surveys of the site.
