Summary of the work Lead the DevOps (development) team consisting of a small group of data modelers and OAS technical specialists, who provide improvements and fixes to a major reporting service within the MoD. You will provide OAS technical support, maintenance and development activities on a large enterprise data warehouse reporting application . Specialist role Data engineer Expected Contract Length 12 months Latest start date Sunday 30 October 2022 Who Speclialist Work With The DevOps Team consists of 2 OAS developers and modellers, a Data Steward. Their position will be to lead and train the Team. All work under a senior data architect What Specialists Work On Assure, test and train Oracle Analytics Server, EDQ and OEMM products coming into service for Military and Veterans HR services Skills & Experience • Have a strong Oracle background, OAS, ODI, EDQ, OEMM specially • Knowledgeable on Military HR and MoD environments Work Location Centurion Building, HMS Sultan, Gosport, Hampshire, PO13 9XA Working Arrangments 2-3 Days per week in office and working from home for the rest of the time. 19.3 days per month. Yes - we have a contingent worker supplied by Public Service Recruitment whose contract ends 30 Oct 22, but we can't extend him because he will exceed a 3 year government limit. Hence we looking to use his services via a service supplier who would be willing to take him on their books 2. When is the start date Beginning of Nov 22. The current DevOps Tech will be available for employment 3. Will SC clearance be sponsored or does it have to be in place? Ideally in place as we need them to hit the ground running and can not really afford the delay of SC clearance checks. 4.
