Delivery of Somalia Stability Fund III (SSF III)

Tender description

Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is planning to publish a tender opportunity for the Fund Manager contract for the Somalia Stability Fund III (SSF III) at the beginning of August 2022. The Opportunity Notice and Contract Notice will be published in the Contract Finder and Finder the Tender Services (FTS) respectively to alert the market and provide the instruction on how to access the tender documents. Please note that the system forced me to complete "Approach to the Market Day" field - there are no plans for any further market engagement prior to the opportunity going live. SSF III will support more inclusive political agreements at multiple levels of government and address historical grievances that have undermined trust between elites and contributed to the ongoing democratic deficit in Somalia. It will create the necessary space to establish democratic processes at the sub-national and national levels. It will build more representative and effective local governance structures and invest in strengthening the social contract between citizens and the state to ensure that new institutions are more accountable. SSF III Programme's activity will be underpinned by in-depth, long-term research.
