Supply and Delivery of Bollards and Verge Markers

The Council’s Roads and Transportation Service have an ongoing requirement for the Supply and Delivery of Bollards and Verge Markers across the Council’s roads network. The Procurement Service have identified a suitable and accessible Framework as follows: - Framework: SXL for Road Maintenance Materials, 30-17, Lot 5:Bollards and Verge Markers. The Framework Period is 17 September 2018 until 31 August 2022. OJEU Reference: 2018/S 104-237181 The procurement process was based on Call-off via Direct Award from the Scotland Excel Framework for Road Maintenance Materials, 30-17 - Lot 5 Bollards and Verge Markers. The Council’s Procurement Service undertook a benchmarking exercise based on the Council’s requirements based on their basket of goods to determine the most economically advantageous (MEAT) and it was concluded that Glasdon (UK) Ltd provided best value to the Council. In addition Glasdon (UK) Ltd were ranked first based on MEAT on the Scotland Excel Framework for Road Maintenance Materials, 30-17 - Lot 5.
