Tender description

The focus of this work is on the biomagnification and bioaccumulation of PFAS in freshwater fish. The work will dovetail with monitoring done by the EA to better understand how PFAS substances behave in the environment. Fish samples will also be analysed for a wide range of other contaminates including mercury, PCB and PBDE The scope of the work is for the collection of freshwater fish from 21 pre-selected sites across the UK on a single round of sampling. These need to be collected between March and October.
