GLA 27230-2 Rough Sleepers Services (Specialist Services for Non UK Nationals, Rapid Response Outreach)

Tender description

<p>Rough sleeping is the most severe and visible form of homelessness. The Mayor is committed to ensuring there be an immediate and sustainable route off the streets for everyone sleeping rough in London. Since he came to office in 2016, the Mayor&rsquo;s Life Off the Streets programme has helped more than 12,000 people to leave the streets for good. The commissioning of City Hall&rsquo;s rough sleeping services is underpinned by the Rough Sleeping Commissioning Framework (the &ldquo;Framework&rdquo;). Guided by the Framework, a decision has been made to procure two contracts, both of which will commence on 1st April 2023. This may include, for example, access to immigration advice by registered advisors and access to services in the UK and their country of origin. The service also includes accommodation as part of its provision. Duration of each service including possible extension (these can change in future). Lot 2: 5 years including following potential extensions of 2 + 1 + 1+1 years For Lot 2: Note: Authority can decide to extend up to full duration of 3 years or multiple extensions of a shorter period of time. However, the maximum of all the aggregate extensions is set at 2 years. Expected value of Lot 2: Maximum estimated value of the contract over 5 years- &pound;10,220,000 Please note this is the estimated maximum value. Actual value of the services is likely to be lower than this value. For Lot 2: the above maximum estimated value includes Core services, specific optional service, general optional services and extensions of the term. Where expansion of services is taking place under either lot, depending upon future funding available, value could also be higher than stated. The extension is subject to spending review and funding allocation.
