Tender description

As part of this project, the RHA aims to upgrade Emergency Lights to energy efficient LED lights. The light-emitting diode (LED) is a more energy-efficient lighting source than halogen bulbs - using approximately a fifth of the energy and lasting ten times longer than incandescent lighting. Furthermore, LED lighting is better for the environment as they do not contain mercury. The emergency light transition to LED will include the install of the following items on all levels of the building: • Box exit signs • Emergency light fittings • LED bulk head • LED downlighters • 11 twin spots • A central test unit • 20AMP 4 pole contactor • Labour costs including cable, trunking, clips etc.
