Champs Collaborative website maintenance contract 2022-23

Tender description

Champs Collaborative have a main website and several campaign websites that need development, hosting, domain renewals and security updates. Kaleidoscope built these websites and have provided this service in recent years. On providing an updated quotation they have kept this website contract at the same rate for 22/23. It would not be cost effective to move this work to another supplier, there would not be the market for taking on all aspects of this work. They are small websites and it is unlikely that other companies would want to bid on providing all of the services. As Kaleidoscope built these websites, they have the specialist knowledge of the programming and systems that another agency would not have. It would present a risk to our online continuity to move them as other companies would not be familiar with how they were built. Kaleidoscope have always provided exceptional service in this area. Please note the Head of IT has approved this contract.
