Tender description
To prepare a masterplan of the Britannia Neighbourhood area - as required by Local Plan Policy RA7 - to inform the residential-led regeneration of this area. This work is urgently required to test the deliverability of the Birkenhead Design Guide draft proposals being undertaken by MacCreanor Lavington, hence the importance of using the same consultants for this masterplan. Also urgently required to progress a Local Plan project to enable substantial progress before the examination commences. Appointing a new consultant would result in significant delay, hence the requirement for an exception to normal procurement procedures in this instance.
