Tender description

NIBRT is looking to acquire an automated synthetic biology workstation that facilitates the creation of DNA clones, libraries of variants, genes, genomes, RNA and protein in a single instrument platform. The instrument will be used for a variety of applications, but namely, the synthesis of DNA for cloning into expression vectors to enable cell line generation for recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, gene therapies and chimeric antigen receptors for T-cell therapies. The ability to synthesis mRNA on any proposed solution would also be highly attractive. The proposed solution will ideally be accompanied by simple design and operational software that enables the optimisation of the genetic material before synthesis.
