Tipperary Town Revitalisation CLG seek a tender to develop a Community Energy Plan in Tipperary Town, County Tipperary. Community Energy Plans are made on behalf of community and voluntary groups, aiming at community benefit, and distinct from local authority, municipal or statutory energy planning processes. The methodology section will breakdown the approach and deliverables. The tender should include a section on how the contractor will approach the work, indicating any synergies with the ongoing Revitalisation process. Tipperary Town Revitalisation Task Force was convened in early 2020 and is a multi-stakeholder group including Department of Housing and Local Government, Tipperary County Council, Enterprise Ireland, HSE, Youth Work Ireland, local schools, Chamber of Commerce, local industry, local community, Family Resource Centres, and the local Credit Union among others. To facilitate oversight, simplify engagement with the consultant, the key contact will be the Task Force Manager. The EMP steering group will be a subgroup of TTRTF.
