Tender description

The purpose of this project is to provide a steer for where national policy and practice should be focused to incentivise landowners, land managers and other stakeholders to restore tree cover within highway and other infrastructure corridors. A key component will be reconnecting fragmented tree cover and creating new sylvan linear features within the landscape to provide multiple benefits for people, landscape, and biodiversity. At this current time, the Environmental Land Management schemes do not reference highways and other transport corridors. This project seeks to fill this gap.
Keywords: trees, tree planting, sylvan
