<p>We are looking to secure a Youth Development Worker for the new community of Northstowe to support, enable and empower that community to deliver their own Youth Offer. This post will work for a 2-year period to develop the community&rsquo;s relationship with its young people, to understand their needs, offer them meaningful support, create positive activities and to value the contribution young people can make as part of the Northstowe community. The post will develop the existing volunteer base and continue to grow their understanding and skills in relation to professional youth work. At the end of the 2-year period Northstowe will be confident to sign post their young people to services in Cambridgeshire and support their growth, development, and education. The community will have a shared and known value of youth work and be confident to deliver positive activities and offer support, safe places and trusted adults so that their young people might successfully transition to adult life.</p> Keywords: Youth Worker, Northstowe, Youth
