Maintenance and Repair of Westmeath Fire & Rescue Service Fleet of Vehicles

Tender description

Westmeath Fire & Rescue service invites Tenders for the annual maintenance and repair of their Fire service Fleet of 17 HGV, 13 LGV & 10 assorted trailers as per schedule contained in A1(A) of the attached document. The number of vehicles/types of vehicle may change over the tendered period. The successful tenderer will be required to submit pricing that can be applied pro rata, should they be notified of additional vehicles/types. The successful tenderer will be required to maintain the fleet in accordance with • The Road Safety Authority (Commercial vehicle Roadworthiness) Act 2012. • S.I. No: 348 of 2013 Road Safety Authority (Commercial Vehicle Road Worthiness) (vehicle maintenance and repair) regulations 2013. Periodic Inspection (6 - Monthly) of the Westmeath County Fire and Rescue Service Fleet comprising of 17 Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV’s) and 13 Light Goods Vehicles (LGV’s) & 10 Trailers tProvide a systematic paper/electronic record of all servicing, maintenance and inspection works carried on the County Westmeath Fire and Rescue Service Fleet in accordance with current legislation. The Main Requirements of this RFT are: 1. Yearly Servicing (subsequent maintenance) of the Westmeath Fire and Rescue Service fleet. 2. Six monthly inspection (subsequent maintenance) of the Westmeath Fire & Rescue Service fleet. 3. Provide a detailed systematic paper and electronic record within an agreed period after all servicing, repairs, maintenance and inspection works carried out on the Westmeath Fire and Rescue Service fleet
