Tender description
<p>Gloucestershire County Council wishes to engage with potential providers to ascertain market interest in providing a new service to provide early intervention anonymous (or pseudonymous) remote mental health and wellbeing support to adults in the county through a variety of contact methods. Feedback is also invited on the proposed service model/requirements.</p> <p>In addition to this market engagement, the Council is currently running a 6-week public consultation to seek views on the option of:</p> <ul> <li>commissioning an open access, mental health and wellbeing helpline service for adults, </li> <li>incorporating support for self-harm into the new helpline to enable people to receive support for self-harm alongside wider support for other mild-moderate mental health issues, such as anxiety, low mood etc.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The proposed helpline would be for adults (those aged 18 years and above) presenting with mild-moderate and emergent mental health issues (including self-harm). This integrated Service would provide confidential, anonymous (or pseudonymous), early intervention support on an open access basis (i.e., no referral required).
