Desk Top Archaeological Appraisal Evidence to Support the Lancaster South AAP Development Plan Document. As part of the preparation of the Lancaster South AAP document Lancaster City Council is seeking to commission A suitably qualified archaeological consultant to assist it in the preparation of the archaeology evidence base required to support the AAP DPD. This work will build on the existing evidence prepared in 2017 and 2018 as part of the Local Plan preparation, to ensure all areas within the Lancaster South Broad Location for Growth are covered, to assist in informing the assessment and identification of development parcels within the AAP area and the identification of constraints and areas for protection..
