Design Consultancy Services Framework

Tender description

West Northamptonshire Council wishes to appoint Framework Providers in 12 Lots to provide Design and Technical Consultancy Services for a range of construction projects. This framework is open for use by all current Council partners, including: • North Northamptonshire Council, Northampton Partnership Homes and other organisations delegating services and or functions to the Council; • by way of access agreement, this framework is also open to new Council customers seeking to utilise the Council's frameworks on an independent third party basis including: a. any city, district, borough or other local authority within the county of West Northamptonshire; b. any companies or organisations set up by participants in the Council; c. any school, academy, university or other educational establishment within the county of West Northamptonshire; and d. any Public Body outlined in either Part I or Part II of the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) (Public Bodies) Order 1972. Details of which can be found at http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1972/853/made. • Access to this framework by such bodies shall be solely controlled and managed by the Council, and the successful Potential Supplier(s) shall not accept any instructions under this framework other than from the Council. Applications are invited from experienced providers of Design and Technical Consultancy Services to the construction industry who can provide high quality professional services using a customer focussed approach, particularly in the Public Sector. The services to be provided are: 1 Architectural -- £0 - £1,999,999 2 Architectural -- £2m plus 3 Building Surveying -- £0 - £1,999,999 4 Clerk of Works - £0 -- £2 plus 5 Mechanical & Electrical -- £0 - £1,999,999 6 Mechanical & Electrical -- £2m plus 7 Project Management -- £0 - £1,999,999 8 Project Management -- £2m plus 9 Quantity Surveying / Cost Consultancy -- £0 - £1,999,999 10 Quantity Surveying / Cost Consultancy -- £2m plus 11 Structural & Civil Engineering -- £0 - £1,999,999 12 Structural & Civil Engineering -- £2m plus Design and Technical Consultancy Services will be required for but not limited to education and social care, Health, Blue Light Services, Residential, community and public buildings. The Framework will cover construction works and will include, but not be limited to, new build, demolitions, capital replacements, extensions, repairs and renovation programs.
