Tender description

Arun District Council (ADC) is seeking a contractor to undertake a works project to refurbish the Bedford Street W/C's. The existing building is a single storey flat-roofed block of toilets sited adjacent to Morrisons at the North end of Bedford Street. The existing facilities include separate Male and Female toilets and an accessible toilet. There is a narrow service area and a small store. The toilets are in reasonable condition and are open to the public daily. Full scope and specification are contained in Attachment a - Project Specification, along with detailed technical specifications and drawings found in the attachments listed under Document Attachments. Key Objectives: o Reconfiguration of existing Male & Female toilets to unisex. o Removal of roof section to form open to air facility. o Forming new unisex cubicles and fully accessible cubicles. o New security gates o Drainage. o Tiling. o New sanitary wear All tenderers are encouraged to arrange a visit to view the site, all site visits must be booked in advance by contacting lloyd.willson@arun.gov.uk at the Council.
