Tender description

Prior Information Notice: This is a prior information notice to give suppliers advance notice that the Authority intends to initiate procurement activities for the Provision of Training Life Rafts for the Air Mobility Force (AMFTLR), based at RAF Brize Norton. The Authority's requirement is for the provision of 3x Atlas (A400M) and 3x Voyager (A330) Training Life Rafts (TLRs) to RAF Brize Norton to support initial and recurrent Safety Equipment (SE) training. The TLRs will be durable and easily repairable, capable of repeated immersion in chlorinated water (Est. twice per month for at least 5 years) and constructed of polyurethane coated nylon material for ease of maintenance as support facilities already exist. In addition, the Authority is seeking the supplier provide options for sea training (requiring a gaseous inflation system rather than a fan and be capable of repeated saltwater immersion); the provision of a portable reversible inflation/deflation device; and the provision of a common repair kit (scaled for 5 years of use, including any recommended spares for the Gemini valves and inflation/deflation device).
