16+ Services – Young people supported accommodation re-tender for services covering Gedling, Rushcliffe, Broxtowe

Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) has procured a provider to provide supported accommodation to young people, aged 16 and over in the south of the county of Nottinghamshire, in the borough areas of Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe. The service will provide solo and core plus provision The objectives of this service are to support service users to: • Gain access to appropriate accommodation with support at the point of need • Maintain their supported accommodation appropriately and improve independence skills • Source independent accommodation and move on from supported accommodation in a planned way following a ‘Ready to Move’ assessment with ongoing support as required • Live healthier lives and access relevant health services (including substance misuse and mental health services) • Raise aspirations • Access and engage with appropriate training, education, apprenticeships, employment, or voluntary work • Develop or improve budgeting skills and reduce any debt • Become resilient, improve confidence and self-reliance • Build appropriate and positive relationships and links to their local communities and family members (where it is safe) • Feel safe and be protected from harm and understand the consequences of risk taking behaviours • Reduce risk of reoffending and promote compliance with statutory orders and Licences The contract will commence on 01 August 2022 (the Commencement Date) for a period of 5 years to 31 July 2027 and the Service will commence at the earliest opportunity between the Commencement Date and 01 January 2024 (the Service Commencement Date). There are three twenty-four-month extensions available.
