The LASNTG (Local Authority Services National Training Group), a division of Tipperary County Council, require an Online Enrolment System to support the existing delivery of training nationwide.

Tender description

The LASNTG require a Consultant to supply, install and maintain an Online Enrolment System to support the existing delivery of training nationwide. The system shall meet all current needs and shall be required to be fully customisable in future so that LASNTG can continue to meet the changing needs of the sector. Associated services including re-build of the existing website and user training are also required. Tenderers shall note that it is the intention that this Contract shall form Phase 1 of a 2 Phase Project. Phase 2 will build on Phase 1 and will include the implementation of a Training Management System. The LASNTG, through its Roads, Water, Environment and Fire Services Training Groups, coordinates the development and delivery of training to staff involved in the provision of services within these four sectors. The existing website www.lasntg.ie provides information on available training programmes to prospective learners. Training programmes are delivered via 5 Regional Training Centres (RTCs) nationally through a combination of classroom and online methods. The centres are located in Ballincollig, Ballycoolin, Castlebar, Roscrea and Stranorlar. The RTCs currently facilitate the enrolment process manually for local authority, public sector and private sector learners. LASNTG and the RTCs require a modernisation of the enrolment phase. The successful Consultant shall be required to: 1) Re-build the existing lasntg.ie website, ensuring all functionality from the existing site is maintained as part of the process of modernisation and upgrade 2) Develop an enrolment system within the re-developed website 3) Develop a plug-in payment system to allow processing of learner fees 4) Provide user training for LASNTG and RTC staff to allow efficient operation of the new website and enrolment system 5) Provide all required data collection, project management, commissioning and pilot services required for successful project delivery 6) Provide complete maintenance, support and hosting services for a durati
