PROCESS EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REAL LIVING WAGE FOR SOCIAL CARE WORKERS

Tender description

The Client wishes to commission a process evaluation and a future costings model of the commitment to pay the Real Living Wage (RLW) to Registered Social Care Workers in Wales from April 2022 . ‘Registered workers’ in this context means those roles for which a workforce register is held by Social Care Wales that has become mandatory or where action is being taken to make that register mandatory (i.e. for social care workers in adult residential care homes, it is anticipated that it will become mandatory from October 2022).The process evaluation will involve engaging stakeholders; evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of the RLW; developing a theory of change; providing information and evidence to support the intervention over subsequent years; and developing an interactive future costings model.
