New Build Primary School, Nursery Facility and Sports Facility, Jackton

Tender description

The Council identified the requirement to appoint a suitable contractor to construct a new non-denominational 16 classroom primary school and nursery with sports pitch facilities. A major program of new build housing and infra-structure development is planned for the Jackton area near East Kilbride forming part of the East Kilbride Community Growth Area (CGA). The project represents the educational needs required to address the effect of the proposed development and accommodate the pupils generated by the wider CGA development The project has been tendered through the hub South West Scotland Limited (hubSW), acting as a Development Partnership in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council. The project is funded through a combination of Joint Funding by City Deal and Developers Contributions.
