Summary of the work The role comprises the implementation of remedial steps to address known issues, and to provide continued support to maintain an effective MIM solution for BAU needs. This will be on an ad-hoc basis, as issues or requirements are identified by the Agency's service management team. Specialist role Technical Architect Expected Contract Length Until end March 2023, with the option to extend by mutual agreement. Latest start date Monday 1 August 2022 Who Speclialist Work With Working with service management, helpdesk and infrastructure to deliver the work outlined above. What Specialists Work On Responsibilities will be: 1. To provide immediate fixes and remediation based on discovery work already completed (scope for some discovery work available on agreement 2. Remediate existing workflows, ensuring JML process and notifications work end to end; 4. Upgrade/Patch MIM as and if required; 5. Provide ongoing support on a call off (ad hoc) basis as a business as usual function. Skills & Experience • Ability to navigate and fix through a live production on the Agency's MIM platform, make best practise recommendations and make implementations where accepted. • Ability to confidently make changes to a live MIM environment. • 5 years plus experience in this field. • Previous experience working in the public sector • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion integration for MIM essential. Nice to Haves • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure • Firm understanding of the principles of identity management • Automated M365 License provisioning from a JML perspective Work Location MHRA, 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 4PU Working Arrangments Work will be remote, however the option to attend workshops at an MHRA site. Whilst we have worked with suppliers previously to assess our current setup and provide recommendations, there is no existing managed service or preferred supplier 2. As it is on an Ad-Hoc basis, how many days per week will the specialist be required to work? This will be on a T&M basis, with hours of support cover and SLAs to be discussed at interview. 3. Can you please share the budget? No current budget can be published unfortunately.This can be discussed upon interview. 4. Is there an incumbent? Whilst we have worked with suppliers previously to assess our current setup and provide recommendations, there is no existing managed service or preferred supplier. 5. Do you anticipate that this is a role 5 days a week until the end of March 2023? We do not anticipate this role do be 5 days a week.Work will be assigned on a T&M basis, with hours of support cover and SLAs to be discussed at interview. 6. What rate will this role pay? Will it be outside IR35? Rate to be discussed during interview.IR35 assessment to be made based on service offering. 7. What is the maximum day rate please? Not possible to disclose. Will be discussed during interview process 8. Is this a full time role (5 days a week) or ad hoc? Ad hoc.This will be on a T&M basis, with hours of support cover and SLAs to be discussed at interview. 9. Is this a requirement for one specialist or for a Managed Service Provider? A Managed Service provider, however if post interview if the managed service provider and the agency deem it appropriate that one specialist can be assigned to this role, this may be accepted, however appropriate cover should be in place if an assigned individual is on annual leave etc. To ensure agreed SLAs are met. 10. What is the budget for this requirement? No current budget can be published unfortunately.This can be discussed upon interview. 11. It is mentioned that “work will be remote”, can you please clarify if the required candidate can be from outside UK? Preference is that the assigned managed service is UK based. 12. Would you please be able to clarify if this requirement is for a technical specialist (IT Contractor) on a flexible contract engagement basis or whether it would be more suitable for an IT services firm that offer technical and support services to support such SLA’s. The engagement is more suited for a services based model. 13. What is the budget for this requirement? No current budget can be published unfortunately.This can be discussed upon interview.
