Delivery partner to support the outcomes for Project Pharos

Project Pharos aims to access real-time insights to estimate how many British Nationals are overseas to support efficient and effective crisis response. This solution would be able to map indicative number of eligible persons for HMG support in times of crisis across the world. Project Pharos was an idea submitted by the FCDO to a cross government competition called the Data Challenge demonstrating how government could be using data better. The concept was developed over a 6-month period by a team of civil servants, led by the FCDO, and made it to the finals of the competition before a judge of senior civil servants in December of 2021. It is now at a point where it could be moved from concept to an initial iteration.The solution should be able to leverage data held across HMG and beyond, open Source being a key source. It is anticipated that the solution will be hosted on the ONS Integrated Data Service (IDS). ONS will be a key stakeholder and close collaboration will be needed to ensure delivery
