Delivery of ABC Labour Market Partnership Rapid Response Employment Programmes

ABC Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified team to fully manage, coordinate and deliver a suit of Rapid Response Employment Programmes in 2022/23 to support the local economy and support local people into employment. This intervention is an important strand under Strategic Priority 2 of the ABC LMP Action Plan 2022-2023: To improve employability outcomes and/or labour market conditions locally. The ABC LMP has identified the need for Rapid Response Employment Programmes to support people who are unemployed, underemployed (working 16 hours or less), economically inactive or at risk of redundancy into priority sectors where demand for skilled labour currently exceeds supply, namely within construction, hospitality and tourism, agrifood, and manufacturing and engineering sectors. Collaborative bids which demonstrate experience in all sectors are welcome. Organisations can tender for one or all four Rapid Response Employment Programmes. The successful multi-disciplinary team/collaboration will have extensive experience in the field of engaging community and industry effectively to make a difference in Employability and Skills outcomes.
