Carrick-on-Shannon to Battlebridge Blueway - Ground Investigation Works Contract

Tender description

It is proposed to develop a Blueway cycle and pedestrian track approximately 11km in length from Carrick-on-Shannon to Leitrim Village and on to Battlebridge to connect to the existing Blueway which runs from Battlebridge to Acres Lake in Drumshanbo. The purpose of the geotechnical investigation works is to determine the ground conditions along the preferred route. An intrusive ground investigation is required as part of this assessment to identify the material composition and physical parameters along the route and the underlying ground conditions. The proposed works include: - Cable percussion (CP) boreholes - Rotary Core (RC) boreholes - Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) - Borehole monitoring assemblies - Geotechnical and geo-environmental lab testing - Geophysical surveys
