Vouchers for students to purchase laptops (to support e-learning and assessment).

Tender description

To support our online delivery of teaching materials students over the past five years have been provided with a voucher rather than a laptop. This gave the school/university a significant cost saving compared to purchasing laptops and so we would wish to continue this option for students. A quote from Currys has been received. Although other suppliers do exist they open up the vouchers to a wider range on non-electronic goods on which to spend the voucher, or have a limited range to choose from. As a result of the vouchers students are more enable to engage in the course and undertake the required 'open book' assessments.
