Tender for digitisation of Irish State Art Collection documentation transparencies

Tender description

The Irish State Art Collection contains approximately 1,500 documentation images of artworks film. The vast majority are individually cut frames of colour reversal film on medium format, with the remainder in large and small formats. Many have colour cards within frame, usually Q-13 Colour Separation Guides. These transparencies need to be digitised to a high standard, with digital corrective work {dust & scratches, colour balance etc.} undertaken where necessary. A detailed quotation and schedule is sought for the production of tiff & jpeg image files from 1,500 frames, initially.
