Sykehusinnkjøp HF, on behalf of Helse Bergen HF [Bergen Hospital Trust], wants to carry out a market survey for the procurement of an ultramicrotome or a microtome for semi-thin cross-sections. The requirement is now subject to assessment, and we therefore request information on instruments that are available in the market. We would like to receive any presentations, brochures, etc. See point II.2.4 for further information. Lot 1: Sykehusinnkjøp HF, on behalf of Helse Bergen HF [Bergen Hospital Trust], wants to carry out a market survey for the procurement of an ultramicrotome or a microtome for semi-thin cross-sections. The requirement is now subject to assessment, and we therefore request information on instruments that are available in the market. We would like to receive any presentations, brochures, etc. A microtome instrument for semi-thin cross-sections The Microtome must be able to cut semi-thin cross-sections, also called blue sections, for TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) analysis. The blocks to be cut are of EPON (epoxy resin) plastic blocks. The block is solid, to be able to cut further to 70 nm thick sections. The microtome must be stable, provide even cross-sections, with a thickness of 0.5 my (500 nm). Ultra-microtome The Microtome must be able to cut semi-thin and ultra-thin cross-sections for TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) analysis. The blocks to be cut are of EPON (epoxy resin) plastic blocks. The microtome must be stable, provide cross-sections, with a thickness from 30nm- 8um.
