Tender description
Aligned to commemorate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Defra has announced its intention to make available a £3 million capital grant fund to support the improvement and modernisation of village halls. We are currently considering how the Fund will be structured and operated. Defra’s preferred option is to outsource the administration of the Fund to a 3rd party delivery partner. Our first step is to conduct this market sounding exercise to determine the level of interest from external organisations in administering and operating the Fund on behalf of Defra. We are in the early stages of data gathering and analysis; this activity is intended solely to help inform our assessment of the viability of the preferred delivery option.
