DN618699 PSS PND Service

Tender description

This relates to contract/ ref: ER61575 - DN595410. Further work has been carried out on developing the new specification including incorporating a soft market testing exercise and a review of current services. This work has been required to ensure that the separate but related functions (PND and PBRS) can be integrated into one single specification and contract to increase impact and respond to current and future need. The revised procurement timeline (drafted with Procurement colleagues) schedules award of the new contract for the last week of October 2022. To accommodate this and ensure there is no break in service (which would have a significant impact on vulnerable families) an exemption is required to extend the current contract. Procurement colleagues have advised that these new exemptions should extend the contracts until 30th November as a contingency to allow for further slippage which may occur due to organisational pressures. This will mitigate against potential safeguarding, financial or contractual risks. However, it is anticipated that the process will be complete by the end of October. Children's colleague will complete exemption for the PSS PBRS service.
