Tender description

Trail upgrades at Lake Vrynwy on existing trails which are managed by the RSPB. Trails improvements will include some or all of the following (refer to attached maps): - Yellow Trail: improvements to an existing unsurfaced trail in woodland on the 1st map below to include locally sourced timber steps, local regrading, drainage and gravel surfacing. - Green Trail: upgrade to include a heavy stone finish (similar to Snowdonia National Park mountain paths) to an existing unsurfaced path across open ground see 2nd map - Lakeside Hide access: improvements to make the access DDA compliant including reprofiling, local re-routing and surfacing. See 3rd map. RSPB will work with the successful tenderer to determine the exact specification and extent of works working within the overall budget allowed. RSPB will also work with the successful tenderer to determine the exact timing of the works to avoid busy visitor periods.
